Update 10/2025: New reporting system, saved views, and automation module

October brought some of the most fundamental changes to IC Project in 2025.

We focused on three areas that directly impact how teams scale their work: reporting, view personalization, and process automation. The result is a new reporting system, the ability to save custom work views, and the first version of an automation module that removes repetitive manual work from teams.

📊 New IC Project reporting system

Until now, reporting in project management systems often answered the question “what happened.” The new reporting system in IC Project was designed to also answer “what is happening now” and “where risk is emerging.”

The new reporting panel is not just a refreshed view, but an entirely new analytical foundation. We introduced four reports, including two completely new ones and two integrated with the AI Assistant.

The stage report allows you to analyze all stages executed across projects. You can check which stages are planned, which are in progress, and which have been completed. The report enables filtering data by projects, stage types, dates, and custom fields. It is the first report in IC Project that fully leverages custom fields, allowing data to be precisely aligned with how your organization works.

The milestone report gathers all key project checkpoints in one place. It allows you to quickly see which milestones have been completed, which are ahead of schedule, and which are delayed. Data can be grouped by projects to get a full overview of the entire organization’s schedule and then exported to an XLS file for further analysis.

Additionally, AI reports that were previously available only in the AI Assistant module have been integrated directly into the reporting system. This allows you to move into AI-driven analysis without changing context and use it as a natural extension of reporting.

The new reporting system transforms reports from a simple data summary into a real operational and strategic management tool. It enables faster risk detection, analysis of dependencies between projects, and real-time progress reporting.

⚡ Save your ideal view and work faster every day

Every team and every user works with data differently. Until now, this meant repeatedly setting filters, sorting, columns, and search criteria.

The new view-saving feature allows you to preserve exactly what you see on the screen at any given moment. Filters, sorting, text search, and column configuration are all saved. Once a view is saved, you can recall it later with a single click.

This allows you to create separate views for financial analysis, operational control, time tracking reporting, or team monitoring. Each view can have its own name and its own set of saved settings.

Views can be saved from two places: from the filters level and from the column configuration level. The feature is available exactly where you naturally work with data.

It’s worth noting that saved views are stored locally in the browser, so they always look exactly as configured, but they only work on the specific computer.

This is a simple solution that eliminates repetitive clicking and significantly speeds up everyday work.

🔄 New automation module

October also marks the release of the first version of the automation module in IC Project. Its goal is to remove repetitive tasks from teams and ensure that no step in a process is missed.

The automation module allows you to build sequences of actions and reactions that are triggered automatically when specific conditions are met. A task changes status, and the system assigns the appropriate person, adds a tagged comment, and sends a notification. A task moves to the next department, and the system transfers it to another board and assigns a new owner. A project ends, and selected tasks are automatically archived.

Automations can currently be created in four areas: tasks, boards, stages, and projects. Each automation consists of a trigger, reactions, and operating rules such as execution timing or repetition limits.

You can access the automation module directly from a project, board, or task by clicking the lightning icon. From that point on, the system takes over the execution of the defined actions.

This is the first version of automation in IC Project and at the same time a foundation for further development. In the next stages, the module will be expanded with new triggers, reactions, and configuration options.

The October IC Project update introduces changes that have a real impact on the scale and quality of team work. The new reporting system provides deeper insight into projects, saved views eliminate repetitive actions, and the automation module takes over routine tasks.

It’s a step toward a system that not only organizes work, but actively supports and accelerates it.
