Challenges
Intermag is one of the leaders in the production of fertilizers and biostimulants for agriculture, horticulture and livestock. The company runs many complex projects in parallel — from research and development of new recipes, through testing and implementation, to production and marketing activities.
The complexity of the processes made communication between research, production and sales departments a major challenge. The exchange of information took place through emails and meetings, which increased response times and made it difficult to monitor progress. What was missing was a single tool that would connect all the steps of the process — from the idea to the finished product.
Purchase decision and objections
The Intermag Management Board was looking for a solution that would improve the coordination of product and research projects, while ensuring simple communication between departments. Concerns were raised as to whether the system would be flexible enough to map the different stages of the production and research process.
During the presentation of IC Project it was shown that the system can be adapted to the specifics of technological projects — from planning and research to implementation in production. It was this flexibility, combined with an intuitive interface, that convinced the company to start implementing.
Deployment process
The implementation began with an analysis of the current way of conducting product projects. Then, together with the Intermag team, we designed a structure of projects and schedules that map the life cycle of the product — from the concept stage, through research, testing and registration, to production and sales.
Each department received its own view of tasks and schedules, but all data is visible in a single, common environment. This allows managers to have a complete picture of progress and teams can collaborate without having to move information between tools.
During the implementation, a series of workshops were held for employees who learned about the practical possibilities of IC Project and how to integrate the system into everyday work.

IC Project has combined all stages of product project implementation in one place. Gantt schedules made it possible to plan multi-step processes, such as the development of new products or their modifications.
Research, production, and marketing teams can collaborate in real-time — commenting on tasks, uploading files, monitoring statuses, and responding to changes in schedules. Thanks to automatic notifications, information about transfers or approvals reaches everyone involved immediately.
The system also made it possible to organize the flow of communication between the production and the other departments. Now each task has clearly assigned owners and deadlines, and documentation is available in one place, eliminating the need to duplicate information in emails.
