IC Project July Update – Better Control, Smarter Collaboration and More Efficient Project Management

At IC Project, we continuously improve our platform to help teams manage projects more efficiently. Our July update introduces four new improvements focused on time tracking, employee availability, project search and team communication.

Here's what's new.

⏱️ Timesheet Approval

The Time Tracking module now supports weekly timesheet approval.

After enabling the feature, employees can submit their weekly timesheets for review. Managers or designated approvers receive a notification, review reported time entries and either approve or reject the submission with feedback.

The approval history is stored in the system, providing full transparency and better control over reported working hours.

🌴 Vacation Indicator

Knowing who is available is essential for efficient teamwork.

A new vacation indicator now appears next to a user's avatar whenever they have an approved leave for the current day. The information is visible throughout the system, making it easy to identify unavailable team members without opening the leave management module.

Clicking the user's avatar also displays their vacation status.

🔎 Advanced Project Filtering

Finding the right project is now much faster.

In addition to searching by project name or number, users can now filter projects using:

• tags,
• categories,
• project status,
• customers,
• project managers,
• assigned users,
• favourite projects.

These filters are available across multiple modules, including reports and time tracking.

😍 Full Emoji Library

Team communication has become even more natural.

IC Project now supports a complete emoji library across the entire platform, including chat, comments and message reactions.

Users can react more precisely, communicate faster and make everyday conversations more engaging.
