Update 02/2026: Automations in templates, SSO and new reports

February brought several important updates to IC Project that truly streamline the daily work of project teams and speed up processes.
We focused on three key areas that have the biggest impact on efficiency in the system:

🤖 Automation in Project, Stage, and Board Templates

One of the most common challenges in project work is the repetition of processes. Many teams run projects with similar structures and workflows, yet each new project required some automation to be configured from scratch.

Now, automations can be saved directly in project, stage, and board templates. This means that along with the project structure, all rules – triggers, reactions, and dependencies – that you previously configured are also saved.

How does it work in practice?

1. Create a fully automated process once.
2. Save it as a template.
3. Use it in future projects without reconfiguring.

Every new project can start with the same fully prepared workflow, ready to go from the start.

It’s particularly useful for companies using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

Implementing SSO brings several practical benefits:

• one-click login to the system
• no need to manage additional passwords
• greater security of system access
• centralized control of login permissions
• ability to enforce login exclusively through SSO

Thanks to this, access to IC Project becomes part of the company’s IT environment and can be managed centrally.

📊 Custom Reports – Get the Data You Really Need

The third and one of the biggest updates is the expansion of the reporting module with custom reports.

Now, you can build reports yourself based on any data available in the system, tailoring them exactly to your analytical needs.

You decide:

• which data to analyze
• which metrics to display
• how the report is presented

What can you do with custom reports?

The new module allows you to:

• create your own reports from any metrics in the system
• analyze project, task, or user data
• filter data according to selected criteria
• sort and customize table columns
• export reports to PDF or XLS
• share reports with the whole organization

This means that every user can generate a report precisely suited to their work.

💡 Tip:
By default, reports display all projects, tasks, or users. Use filters to focus on the data that matters most to you.
