🧩 Choose a project type tailored to your work

This is one of the biggest changes to how project work is organized in IC Project.

From now on, when creating a project, you can decide whether you want to work with a simple or advanced structure. This allows the system to adapt even better to the project type, process, and team needs.

When creating a new project, you choose one of two types:

🔵 Advanced Project

This is the well-known IC Project structure:

project → stages → boards → tasks

It works well wherever projects are more complex, involve multiple teams, or require multi-level planning and execution control.

🔵 Simple Project

This new project type was created for teams that want to work faster and more directly.

After creating a simple project:

✔️ you skip stages and boards
✔️ you get straight to work on tasks
✔️ you use a maximally simplified workflow

At the heart of a simple project is a modern list view that allows you to:

👉 group tasks into sections
👉 quickly add new tasks
👉 filter and organize work
👉 operate without unnecessary steps or switching between structures

This allows each team to choose the project complexity level that best suits their daily work.

⚡ Automations V2 – even greater power for work automation

The automation module in IC Project is advancing to the next level.

We have released a new version of automations that offers even greater possibilities for building processes tailored to the organization's specific needs. This development is based on both our clients' experiences and feedback from users actively utilizing automations.

Already today, the module significantly reduces manual work and automatically performs many repetitive actions.

🔵 New action: task creation

From now on, automations can react to the mere creation of a task.

This allows you to automatically trigger subsequent actions in the process based on specific conditions, such as section, priority, or other task parameters.

🔵 Custom fields in actions and reactions

Automations now also support custom fields.

This is a huge step towards process personalization. You can use your own fields both as conditions for triggering automations and as elements of executed actions.

This allows the system to even better reflect the way a specific organization works.

🔵 Responding to task deadline overruns

Automations can now respond to delays and deadline overruns.

This allows for faster identification of risks, monitoring task completion, and automatically triggering corrective actions without the need for manual control of each project.

🔵 Advanced user and team management

New reactions allow for automatic management of responsibility in processes.

You can, among other things:

✔️ assign tasks to entire teams
✔️ unassign selected departments and assign others
✔️ automatically change responsibility at different stages of execution

This opens up entirely new possibilities for building advanced workflows between teams and company departments.

Automations V2 is another step towards even more intelligent process management in IC Project.

📌 Pinned messages – important information always at hand

IC Project Messenger is constantly evolving.

In this update, we've added a message pinning feature, which allows for even better communication organization and faster retrieval of key agreements.

From now on, you can pin messages in all types of conversations:

✔️ private
✔️ group
✔️ project
✔️ task

This ensures that the most important information is always visible at the top of the conversation and doesn't get lost in the flood of daily communication.

The feature allows you to:

👉 pin key agreements, links, and decisions
👉 quickly return to the most important messages
👉 jump to a specific point in the conversation with a single click

This small improvement significantly enhances communication clarity and reduces the time spent searching for information.
